"In this book you will find numerous first rate examples of his
art, the results of Charlie's vibrant personality combining with his flawless
camera technique. For nearly two decades he has occupied the number one spot in
the world of naturist photography. The photos in this book show all of us how
he did it." - from Mark Nisbet's Foreword to
Charlie's Angels ~ Naturally.

"The photographs
of Alison and the rest of the 'Angels' are stunning, but what really shines
through is the happiness, exuberance and sheer joy. What a fabulous 'keepsake'
for a proud mother." - Jean Usher (Alison's
Mum).
"The wonderful book, Charlie's Angels ~
Naturally, is utterly charming - full of happiness and beauty; made me long for
summertime!" - Joanna Lumley.

The Author |
| Foreword |
"This is truly a
lovely piece of art; packed with superb-quality photographs spanning two
decades, and accompanied by an illuminating and humorous (and, at times,
extremely moving) description of Charlie's experiences of getting to know,
befriend and work with each of the 20 'angels' featured. It is a testament to
Charlie's gentlemanly approach to his subjects, and his true passion for the
naked lifestyle, that in Charlie's Angels ~ Naturally he has been able to
recount these heart warming tales of how naturism has enhanced and enriched so
many people's lives. Thoroughly recommended!" - Sara Backhouse, Editor, H&E Naturist

"This is a large,
soft-cover, book depicting the naturist photographer's art. At nearly 200 pages
and packed full of glorious full colour photographs of the attractive ladies
that Charlie has been fortunate to photograph, this publication is a delight.
At a casual glance it looks like an arty book, a coffee table book, but it
deserves more than a casual glance to appreciate the form. This book needs to
be read. Charlie is a good author, witty and clever with a unique style. The
story of his first attempt at video is hysterically funny." - David Piper, Naturist Life.

"Each of the
book's twenty chapters concentrates on a particular subject. The loosely
chronological coverage (or should that be "exposure"?) runs from early models
Jill, Alison and Wendy to more recent regulars statuesque Joceline and petite
Sam. Charlie has always striven for the highest technical standards, and the
book showcases their happy nudity with high-quality reproduction and many
full-page images.
Charlie's anecdote-stuffed text complements the
images well, explaining background such as the setting for a beach photo being
not the Mediterranean in summer, but Devon in March, and how a suitcase reduced
him to helpless laughter.
Through all these stories, the characters of
the models and others come through clearly, along with Charlie's
professionalism. His talent is to allow his subjects' personalities full rein,
and to capture their pleasure in naturism. These abilities are praised in the
book's twin Forewords: Mark Nisbet gives an appreciation from the magazine
editor's point of view, while Alison (the early one) offers a model's
perspective.
Charlie's Angels - Naturally provides an opportunity to
confirm or challenge your preconceptions about Parafotos and its stable of
lissom lovelies. The 190 pages also offer a feast for the non-jaundiced eye.
Whether you flick through to pick out favourite images, or settle down to read
the text, there's plenty to enjoy. Don't take my word for it - after all, I
freely admit to bias in favour of this charming man and these delightful ladies
- try it for yourself!" Tim Forcer |
